Swimmer needs our help

The local swimming and water polo community has been stunned with a local High School swimming star’s diagnosis of Stage IV esophageal cancer.  Eighteen year-old Ian Supra, a Dr Phillips High School senior, All-American Swimmer, School Record holder, and co-captain of both the swimming and water polo team was diagnosed only a couple of weeks ago with this horrible condition. Ian has also been a volunteer with the Special Olympics swimming. Ian known amongst swimming friends as SupraMan faces an extreme battle with this cancer. Esophageal cancer is almost unheard of in this age of patient and this can be like’n to being struck by lightening while spelunking. No cause, just a random event.   Ian will need specialized aggressive treatment in his battle which may require out of town trips to specialized treatment centers.  Needless to say the family is being struck with massive medical expenses and we need your help to give Ian a fighting chance.  This year for our Easter Sunrise Service, April 20th at Lucky’s Lake Swim, all donations will be contributed to the medical expense fund for Ian.  Great news, you don’t have to wait until Easter to help.  Donations can be done easily over the internet here at youcaring.com.  Ian started his chemo this week.  Stay Strong SupraMan! We’ve got your back.
